One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. There are currently 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it is estimated to be 4 million people.
Macmillan started the Coffee Morning in 1990. It has since flourished to become an annual nationwide occasion. Last year £25 million was raised and this year, with your support – we can raise even more.
By hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning we’re not only enjoying a brew and a slice (or slab) of cake but we’re raising money for a fantastic charity and supporting those with cancer. Macmillan aims to make sure nobody faces cancer alone by providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support as well as campaigning for better cancer care.
